This photo has been taken during a collective exhibition in 2011 Ut pictura poësis Cavasso Nuovo, Pordenone, Italy.

The person in the picture, standing by one of my oil paintings, is Ennia Visentin. She’s been my decorative painting instructor, and now a colleague and a friend of mine. She has been teaching decorative painting, mural decoration, trompe l’oeil, and sun dials for years. Her works are exposed both in Italy and outside the country. She introduced me to fresco, gold leaf, and painted frame techniques. Moreover her simplicity and determination taught me not to fear new projects, and always to be ready to learn more.
